The Client

A global pharmaceutical company with 650 vehicles in its UK division.

The Objective

Create a blueprint for a future Global Fleet Strategy that will only offer battery electric vehicles (BEV) across the majority of the world.

Our Solution

We created a small pilot scheme that switched a busy sales team from ICE vehicles into BEV’s. The objective was to provide valuable lessons and insights into the practicalities of running a job-need company car fleet exclusively using EV’s.

The Result

We witnessed a mass influx of employees, who had previously opted out of the company car scheme, opting back in to take advantage of the particularly favourable Benefit in Kind (BiK) tax rates in the UK.

It was such a resounding success that in a little over 1 year, 40% of the UK fleet is now fully electric, with about 80% due to be electrified within the next 12 months.
